Panels in protection class NIJ IIIA consists of layers made of 100% Dyneema SB60 fiber whose properties make the material 15 times stronger than steel and 40% stronger than Aramid fiber.
This is one of the most strongest synthetic fibers manufactured today. The Diamond Series is made in a newer form of Dyneema, making it thinner and lighter than the standard panels. Classification NIJ IIIA (RPS 2 inSweden) They are:
-Ultra sonic welding of seams makes the panel water proof
- 25% thinner than NIJ IIIA Standard
- 25% lighter than NIJ IIIA Standard
- 25% better trauma protection than NIJ IIIA Standard Protection Panels in protection class NIJ
